Corporate Environmental Strategy Expert and Co-Author of "Green to Gold"

Daniel Esty is the Hillhouse Professor of Environmental Law and Policy at Yale University. He holds faculty appointments in both Yale's Environment and Law Schools and serves as the Director of the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy and the Center for Business and Environment at Yale. He is the author of several books including Green to Gold: How Smart Companies Use Environmental Strategy to Innovate, Create Value, and Build Competitive Advantage, with Andrew Winston. The book details what all companies can do to go green successfully and create a sustainable marketplace while still feeding their bottom line. His newest book is The Green to Gold Business Playbook: How to Implement Sustainability Practices for Bottom-Line Results in Every Business Function. It provides tools and strategies to cut costs, reduce risks, drive revenues, and build brand identity.

A knowledgeable environmental speaker, Daniel Esty has years of valuable experience in the field and served in many positions with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He has served as special assistant to EPA Administrator William Reilly, deputy chief of staff of the agency, and as deputy assistant administrator for policy.
