Bio

Faith Abiodun, Founder & President of The F.A.I.T.H. Initiative and Executive Director of The Speech Academy is a blend of talents, skills, persistence and grace.

A graduate of Geography from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, he had a very eventful stint with campus journalism from 2005 to 2008. As Editor-in-Chief of the Union of Campus Journalists, he coordinated numerous interviews with top personalities including Nigerias only Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka and went on to institute the Faith Abiodun Award for Best Features Writer in the University of Ibadan.

His pertinacious personality and undying passion for youth development led him to pioneer The F.A.I.T.H. Initiative, a youth development non-profit organization in November 2008, with a vision of serving as a bridge between young people and a desirable future in business, public administration, career, family, personal development and community service(www.thefaithinitiative.org). In November 2009, he launched The Speech Academy; an Elocution and Public Speaking Training Institute.

His sojourn in public speaking has been very eventful: he has delivered presentations at conferences and seminars across Africa, Europe and America speaking broadly on themes of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Education, Global Development and Charity. He has also motivated young people severally as a speaker at several school conferences and graduation ceremonies and his true passion is for young people to break through barriers, challenge themselves, inspire others and lead change initiatives worldwide. He maintains a personal blog at www.faithabiodun.com.

He is presently studying for a Masters Degree in Public Administration at Syracuse University, New York, where he is a Syracuse University Graduate Scholar and a Maxwell Deans Professional Scholar and serves as President of the Coalition of Multicultural Public Affairs Students (COMPAS). He says I foresee a very bright future for Africa; a continent in which little children will wonder what it means to be plagued by preventable diseases, schools will become factories of knowledge and infrastructure will be an engine for social development. This is our time!
