A Rocket to the Moon is an American rock band. The band was founded during 2006 in Braintree, Massachusetts by native Nick Santino, lead vocals. Guitarist Justin Richards, bassist Eric Halvorsen, and drummer Andrew Cook eventually joined Santino.

In October 2008 the band released their EP “Greetings From...” featuring the singles "Dakota" and "If Only They Knew." The record reached #21 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.

In October 2009 the band released their first full length album, “On Your Side,” featuring the singles “Mr. Right” and “Like We Used To.” The latter reached #6 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and #91 on the Hot 100 chart. The album peaked at #23 on the Alternative Albums chart and #82 on the Billboard 200 chart.
