At 11 years old, Aaliyah Rose was surprised at a local baseball game by Radio Disney, announcing she was selected to perform at the Radio Disney Music Awards. She put on a stellar performance that rocked a national stage.

The Radio Disney Music Awards were held in Los Angeles over the weekend and were geared toward recognizing some of the most popular stars in the music industry, including One Direction, Paramore, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.

Accompanied by the musicians of a local performing arts high school in Los Angeles, Aaliyah Rose put her own spin on “Let It Go” from Disney’s “Frozen,” blowing audiences away with her inspiring rendition of the song.
