Abe’s interest in startups began after spending a summer at a venture-backed diagnostics company as a business development intern. He subsequently joined Analysis Group, an economic and management consultancy. Abe then joined RockPort as an Associate, having previously interned at RockPort for a summer, and is active in all aspects of RockPort’s activities. He has investment and board experience in early through late stage companies in solar, energy efficiency, energy storage, smart grid, transportation, green buildings, lighting, and is currently focused on urban mobility, the Internet of Things and related data, and financing platforms. He moved from Boston to help spearhead the opening of RockPort’s Menlo Park office, and is a frequent panelist and judge at industry conferences and business plan competitions. Abe graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Economics, Chemistry, and Biology.
