Ace Frehley

Original member of KISS and is also a solo recording artist

"Ace" Frehley is known around the world as a founding member and lead guitarist for the legendary rock band KISS. He masterminded and embodied the persona of "SpaceAce" when the band shocked the planet with costumes and theatrics. Frehley was a crucial member of KISS from its inception in 1973 until his departure in 1982.

After leaving KISS, Frehley embarked on a new journey that lead to a successful solo career, selling millions of albums with his band, Frehley's Comet as well as under is own name. This, however, was put on hold when he rejoined his old band mates for a highly successful KISS reunion tour in 1996. His second tenure with KISS lasted until 2002, when he left at the conclusion of what was purported to be the band's Farewell Tour. He has since resumed recording and performing world-wide. On September 15, 2009, Frehley released "Anomaly" to rave reviews. Greg Schwartz from esdmusic.com has this to say about the album, "It's that musical depth and the lyrical maturity demonstrated in tunes like 'Change the World' that puts Ace light years beyond the current version of Kiss..."

From his time spent as the world renowned "Spaceman" to his infamous Halloween '79 interview with Tom Snyder (uproariously commemorated in an iTunes exclusive "The Return of Space Bear"), Frehley is one of the most beloved personalities in rock 'n' roll. He's the man who designed KISS' iconic logo; he delivered an all-time stadium classic in 'New York Groove"; and he continues to stay at the top of his game by sharing the stage with other legendary artists. His recent cameo at Madison Square Garden with Pearl Jam sent the audience into a frenzy.

Ace Frehley is an inspiration and influence to guitar players, musicians and music lovers around the globe with his signature style, both on and off the stage.

He continues to thrill audiences performing a rotating mix of his KISS classics, Frehley's Comet, and solo hits with a theatrically themed show. Everything Ace and KISS fans expect are delivered live by Frehley and his amazing new band, including his signature smoking guitar.
