Adam Newman

Stand-Up Comedian & Musician

Adam Newman is a very funny Los Angeles-based comedian, musician, and podcaster with stand-up appearances on "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Late Late Show with James Corden," "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show," "Gotham Comedy Live," and numerous shows on now-defunct streaming services. He boasts a Comedy Central half-hour special and an Amazon hour special titled "Fuzzies." Some may recognize him from his days at CollegeHumor, while others may remember a viral video where he extracted cocaine from a heckler's coat. True Newmaniacs are familiar with his appearances on HBO's "Silicon Valley" and "Last Week Tonight," Showtime's "I'm Dying Up Here," and TruTV's "Adam Ruins Everything."

In 2011, Comedy Central honored him as a "Comic to Watch," and he earned the title of "New Face" at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival in 2013. HBO Canada's "Funny As Hell" also featured him in multiple sets. Adam has released three critically acclaimed stand-up albums: "Not For Horses" (2011) and "Killed" (2015) on Blonde Medicine Records, and "Squirtacus" (2019) on 800 Pound Gorilla Records. Of note, he appeared on a dating episode of "The Tyra Banks Show" in 2008, though it's worth mentioning that it wasn't where he met his wife. With a brand new special in the works called "Jew Versus the Volcano," set to be released in early 2024, Adam Newman also co-hosts a podcast for men who love cats, titled "PuzzyBoyz."
