Deputy Assistant Secretary, Climate, Environment & Infrastructure at the United States Department of the Treasury

Adam Wang-Levine serves as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Climate, Energy & Infrastructure in the Biden administration. He also co-leads the G20 Sustainable Finance Working Group, which aims to use sustainable finance to support global growth and stability, and to help create greener, stronger, and more inclusive societies and economies.

Wang-Levine previously worked in venture capital at Arc Ventures and Venrock Associates. Prior to Venrock, he served in the Obama Administration at the National Economic Council and National Security Council. His domestic work focused on the response to the 2008 financial crisis, implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act, and housing finance reform. His international work focused on US-China strategic and economic relations as well as broader international trade issues. He also worked with the World Bank in Beijing as a Fulbright Scholar and McKinsey & Company in New York.

Wang-Levine received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and MBA and a MPAID from Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School.
