CEO & Founder of outLoud Inc., Angel Investor and Former Award-Winning Journalist

Adaora Udoji is a lawyer and turned-award-winning journalist, producer, executive, and board member with deep media, digital, and emerging tech expertise. She is Vice President of Programming and Operations for PBS General Audiences, where she has managed news, investigative reporting, current affairs and documentary series and specials, production management & business operations, strategic initiatives, and content operations for distribution and compliance across television, streaming, PBS, and third-party platforms serving 100 million consumers monthly. That includes working with Oscar-winning series like Frontline, Emmy-winning Newshour, Independent Lens, and POV, among others.

Previously, she worked at RLAB, consulting with Fortune 500 companies on emerging tech applications, including artificial intelligence, virtual production, sensors, robotics, and large-scale installations. She also worked in venture capital and strategic media consulting..

She is also an award-winning journalist and producer who covered some of the most compelling stories of our time in the U.S., Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East at ABC News, CNN, and public radio as co-host of The Takeaway with New York Public Radio, NYT, BBC, and GBH. Her work has been recognized, including honors from The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Alfred I. duPont–Columbia and Peabody Awards, The National Press Club, and Essence Magazine named her one of the 25 Most Influential African Americans. Her projects and works she has contributed to have premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival, and Google platforms.

Udoji is an angel investor, a Hewitt School trustee, and an advisor to the New Museum’s NEW Inc. For nearly a decade, she has served as an adjunct professor at NYU in media/tech programs at the Tisch School of the Arts and the Tandon School of Engineering. She's been an advisor for the Sundance Institute Interdisciplinary Program, the Broadway Accelerator, the Global Innovation Board at the Guggenheim Museum, a juror for SXSW, and a judge of Tribeca Festival and Black Public Media’s Pitch Black.

Udoji graduated from the University of Michigan and received a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law. She holds dual American and Irish Citizenship, has lived on four continents, and resides in New York City.
