Addie Swartz

Founder & CEO of ReacHIRE

Addie Swartz has spent more than thirty years as an entrepreneur in the business of empowering women to reach their full potential. She is the CEO of reacHIRE, a company she created after recognizing the unique talent pool of professional women looking to re-enter the job market after career pauses. Swarz recognized the need after taking time away from work to care for her daughter following a car accident.

Working with Fortune 500 companies such as Fidelity, Wayfair, Deloitte and T-Mobile, reacHIRE hand selects "returner" candidates based on the unique needs of its clients. These cohorts of experienced women work together through reacHIRE-led training sessions to update their knowledge, enhance their skills and build a community of peers. To help organizations retain the women in these roles, Swarz also launched Aurora, a digital team-building platform designed to help companies engage and retain their female talent. With Aurora, women connect virtually with a community of peers and experienced guides to help them successfully navigate work challenges, celebrate successes and reach new heights personally and professionally.

Swarz' trailblazing work has been recognized by Forbes, who named her to their annual 50 Over 50 list in 2023, and spotlighted by Inc. on their 2021 Female Founders 100 list.

A serial entrepreneur, Swarz was also both the CEO and Founder of The Beacon Street Girls series of young adult books and gifts, and Bright Ideas, a children's educational software company.

Swarz is a graduate of Stanford University and Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
