Adolfo Franco is a recognized social entrepreneur and award-winning filmmaker. In 2005, he co-founded CAUSAS.ORG and KENIO FILMS with Vidal Cantu. As partner and Content Director for KENIO FILMS, Adolfo has produced feature length films with international talent such as academy award winner Louis Gossett Jr., Gloria and Emilio Estefan and Romero Britto, releasing in 2010 THE PERFECT GAME and A STEP FROM HEAVEN, and currently producing 4 feature films.

In 2007, Adolfo returned to his hometown state of Coahuila to create the Film Commission During the next two years Adolfo participated in several film markets and 22 film festivals (Cannes, Tokyo, Toronto, Sao Paulo, AFM, among other) leaving Coahuila with an impressive 300% increase in film production during a 5-year period.

Since 2005, Adolfo has been the director and general manager of CAUSAS.ORG, the largest social network for civic society in Mexico. CAUSAS.ORG has more than 15,000 non-profits and 200,000 users in all the volunteering networks in collaboration with Cemex, Axtel, Tec de Monterrey, Scotiabank and the Chrysler Foundation.

During 2011 and 2012, CAUSAS.ORG, in collaboration with the Mexican Federal Government, launched CINE EN TU PARQUE (Movies in Your Park), a social program of more than 8,000 screenings intended to rescue public spaces. CINE EN TU PARQUE has more than 1.4 million viewer in more than 30 different cities.

Adolfo Franco has received the 2009 National Solidarity Award from the Mexican president, the 2010 Mexico Initative Award evaluated by Ashoka and Televisa Networks, and the 2011 Google Grant from the Tides Foundation.
