Adriana Brownlee

Youngest Woman to Climb the World's 14 Highest Mountains; Director of Expedition Company AGA Adventures

Adriana Brownlee is a British mountaineer and adventure athlete renowned for her record-breaking ascents of the world's highest peaks.

Her mountaineering journey began at the age of nine when she completed the National Three Peaks Challenge in the United Kingdom within 22 hours alongside her father. This early achievement ignited her passion for high-altitude climbing. Before turning 18, Brownlee had already summited notable peaks such as Mount Elbrus, Kilimanjaro, and Aconcagua. She further honed her skills by climbing the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc in just two and a half days.

In 2021, Brownlee reached the summit of Mount Everest on May 31, marking a significant milestone in her climbing career. She continued her pursuits by summiting Manaslu on September 27 and Dhaulagiri on October 7 of the same year. Her momentum continued into 2022 with successful ascents of Annapurna on April 28, followed by Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu in May. In July 2022, she summited Nanga Parbat, Broad Peak, and K2, becoming the youngest woman to climb the world's second-highest peak on July 28, 2022.

On October 9, 2024, at the age of 23, Brownlee became the youngest woman to have climbed all 14 of the world's 8,000-meter-plus peaks, a monumental achievement in the mountaineering community.

Beyond her climbing endeavors, Brownlee is the co-founder of AGA Adventures, a company dedicated to providing safe and authentic mountaineering experiences in the Himalayas. She is also an ambassador for the British Inspiration Trust (BRIT), focusing on raising awareness about mental well-being and health among young adults.
