Ahmed Al Omran is a Saudi blogger and journalist. His blog, Saudi Jeans, is one of the most well-known and long standing blogs in the Middle East. His work has appeared in major publications such as the New York Times, the Guardian and Foreign Policy.
Born and raised in Hofuf, eastern Saudi Arabia, he graduated with a Master’s degree in digital media from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, New York. He has worked for the National Public Radio in Washington DC, before returning to his home country where he launched his new site Riyadh Bureau.
Ahmed is currently based in Saudi Arabia and available for freelance work.
