Aileen Lee is the founder of Cowboy Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital firm that backs technology entrepreneurs re-imagining life and work.

Prior to Cowboy -- one of the first VC firms to be launched by a woman -- Lee spent over a decade with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers where she worked hands-on with a range of consumer, enterprise, media and greentech companies including Bloom Energy, Blue Nile, One Kings Lane, Rent the Runway, Plum District, and Trendyol. During that time, she was also founding CEO of RMG Networks, a digital media company. Lee has also held operating roles at Gap Inc., The North Face and Odwalla, having started her career at Morgan Stanley.

Lee is a member of both the 2004 class of Henry Crown Fellows and the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute. She has been named one of Time 100's Most Influential People and appeared on Forbes' Midas, Power Women and 50 Over 50 lists.

Lee is also one of the founding members of All Raise, a non-profit organization, which strives to accelerate the success of women in in the technology ecosystem.
