AJ Edelman is a four-time Israeli National Champion in the skeleton event and Israel's representative at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang. He has competed in two World Championships for Israel and is the country's most decorated slider with two international medals.

Edelman first got involved with the sport when he wanted to serve as an example and encourage broader Jewish and Israeli participation in sport and he wanted to represent Israel on the world sporting stage. After trying skeleton he fell in love with the sport.

Edelman graduated from MIT with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
