As Director of Virtual Reality Sports & Entertainment, Akim will work closely with Great American Rivalry to bring high school football games into the realm of virtual reality. Next Galaxy will produce entire events in virtual reality, including Friday night parades, behind-the-scenes interviews, the game, commentaries, and half-time shows. The partnership will be the first large-scale truly virtual reality broadcast that will be widely distributed throughout the nation and around the world. Millington will serve as an experienced host for these games and ensure that the content is both high-quality and compelling in nature.

Akim Millington was an All-American football and track standout and a top five recruit in the State of Illinois with offers from every major university. As a member of an Oklahoma BIG 12 championship team, he participated in the National Championship Orange and Sugar Bowls and served as a captain and member of the Illinois Rose Bowl team. He later played professionally for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League. Following his professional sports career, Mr. Millington was the founder and CEO of a technology company specializing in smart watches and wearable developments for the athletic and healthcare sector.
