DJ, Producer & Founder of Fool’s Gold

Alain Macklovitch (A-Trak) is a Grammy-nominated producer and master DJ who broke the mold. He is the founder of the record label Fool’s Gold, which has developed the careers of such artists as Kid Cudi, Danny Brown, and Flosstradamus while also launching legendary events like the Day Off series. Fool’s Gold also has its own clothing line and a beautiful Brooklyn storefront that doubles as an art gallery. Formerly Kanye West’s tour DJ and consigliere, his latest endeavor is the Goldie Awards, a re-imagined championship for DJs and producers. As a Grammy-nominated producer, A-Trak’s seminal mix of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ “Heads Will Roll” marked an entire generation’s introduction to dance music. He's been nominated for three MTV Video Music Awards and has collaborated with a wide range of artists including Jamie Lidell, Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow, Cam'ron, and Quavo & Lil Yachty. He has appeared in TV campaigns for Adidas, Grey Goose, Mountain Dew and Cadillac and on the covers of Billboard and Complex.
