Dr. Albert Chanthaboury is born and raised in Chicago, IL. He is a descendant of Thai and Lao immigrant parents and proud first-generation graduate. He received a full-ride scholarship through the Posse Foundation to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he obtained his bachelor’s degree . He continued to complete his MA in Educational Leadership at Northeastern Illinois University. To advance his career in research, Dr. Chanthaboury received his Ph.D. Community Psychology degree at National Louis University.

As a groundbreaking researcher, Dr. Chanthaboury aims to continue his research data that will contribute to strategy and operations, institutional research, and UX. As he is beginning to sprout into the field of research, outside of work, he devotes his passion to the Asian-American community through workshops, speaking engagements, and presentation.

He has delivered keynote speeches at conferences, facilitated workshops, and led presentations toward student, faculty, and staff in higher education for the past 5 years. Completing his dissertation on Asian American success in higher education, he is excited to talk about college readiness, trauma, and action plans that should be implemented in institutions.
