Aleph Molinari

Founder of Fundación Proacceso & Digital Inclusion Advocate

Aleph Molinari founded the non-profit organization Fundación Proacceso in 2008. This venture was inspired by his ambition to bridge the digital divide in Mexico. The heart of this initiative is the Red de Innovación y Aprendizaje (RIA), a network of 70 digital inclusion centers. These centers provide computer and internet access, as well as continuing education programs, to an average of 5,000 users per center each year. Moreover, Molinari was instrumental in the design of 21 educational video games for Mexico's Ministry of Public Education, further supporting public school education.

Molinari's work and Fundación Proacceso have gained international exposure through various forums and events such as the OECD annual forums, World Bank CSO Meetings, Global Philanthropy Forum, TED Talks, and the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). Molinari himself is a featured speaker on TED.com, and has written extensively on digital education and inclusion for platforms such as Nexos and CNN Expansion. Molinari's TEDx talk at TEDxSanMigueldeAllende in August 2011, titled "Let's Bridge the Digital Divide!" focuses on empowering digitally excluded individuals by providing access to computers and teaching them how to use these tools.
