Alex Atallah is Chief Technology Officer of OpenSea, a marketplace for nonfungible tokens--digital assets that represent real world objects, like art. He cofounded New York-based OpenSea in 2018 with CEO Devin Finzer. Atallah and Finzer became the first NFT billionaires in January 2021, after a funding round that valued their company at $13.3 billion. He was born in Colorado to a Colombian-immigrant father and American mother.

Atallah graduated from Stanford and worked as programmer at Palantir and two startups before starting OpenSea.
