Alex Castellanos

Political Strategist, Media Consultant & Analyst

Alex Castellanos is one of the Republican Party’s best-known and most successful media consultants and strategists. Castellanos has served as communications consultant to seven U.S Presidential campaigns, has helped elect more than a dozen U.S. Senators and Governors, and enjoys nearly four decades of political consulting experience, both in the United States and abroad.

He has been credited with the discovery of the political “soccer-mom” and has been called the “father of the attack ad.” Fortune singled him out as a “new style media master,” GQ Magazine appointed him one 2007’s 50 Most Influential People in D.C., and he was labeled the King of the Republican media consultants by the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph.

A Morehead and National Merit Scholar at the University of North Carolina, Castellanos has lectured domestically and internationally, from Harvard University to the United States Army Communication School.
