Co-Founder of Paperless Post

Alexa co-founded Paperless Post in 2009 with her brother James Hirschfeld. Since then, the design-driven online invitation company has sent over 400 million invitations. Paperless Post is known for its user centricity, and the company enables self-expression and respects users' desire for private communication without ads.

Alexa graduated from Harvard College in 2006 and started working on Paperless Post a year later. At this time, she was 23 years old and working in New York City, while her brother was a student at Harvard College. At Harvard, Alexa concentrated in Classics, focusing on Ancient Greek and Latin poetry. She wrote her senior thesis on a Modern Greek poet named Constantine Cavafy.

In addition to her proficiency in ancient languages, she speaks Modern Greek, Spanish and of course, English. Alexa is passionate about literature, music, languages and the ability of technology to further the better parts of human behavior.

Alexa currently lives in New York with her husband Alexis.
