Daughter of Warhol Muse Viva; Writer, Actress, Yoga Teacher & Author of "Don't Call Me Home"

Alexandra Auder is a writer, actress, and yoga teacher. She is the daughter of Viva, one of Andy Warhol’s most famous muses and collaborators, and Michel Auder, an award-winning filmmaker who directed Chelsea Girls with Andy Warhol.

Auder followed her mother’s footsteps into acting and appeared in several films and TV shows, including HBO’s "High Maintenance" and the films of Wim Wenders and Jodie Foster, among others. Auder also developed a passion for yoga and became a well-respected teacher who owned and ran yoga studios in New York and Philadelphia. She was even named one of the top 100 teachers in America.

In 2023, Auder published a memoir called "Don’t Call Me Home," which tells the story of her unconventional upbringing and her relationship with her mother.

She resides in Philadelphia with her two children and husband, filmmaker Nick Nehez, with whom she co-produces and collaborates.
