Alexandra Papoutsaki studies human-computer interaction (HCI). Her research aims to democratize HCI research methods by making them accessible to more researchers and everyday users. Her main work focuses on eye tracking and combines webcams and user interactions for real-time gaze prediction. Recently, she has started looking on the effect of gaze sharing on collaboration. She is interested in personal informatics and crowdsourcing and used to work on computational biology.She has also worked on crowdsourcing, personal informatics and computational biology.
