Alexi Jo McCammond is a political journalist. She served as an NBC and MSNBC contributor, a contributor for PBS's Washington Week, and is currently a reporter for the political website Axios. Previously, she covered Joe Biden and the 2020 presidential election for Axios. Her reporting has led to a number of national scoops, including her exclusive story on President Donald Trump's private schedules including hours of "executive time," and being the first to report that Michael Bloomberg was ending his 2020 presidential campaign.

She began her career as a politics reporter for Bustle during the 2016 presidential election cycle. She received the National Association of Black Journalists' emerging journalist of the year in 2019 and was named on Forbes 30 under 30 list for media in 2020.
