Alice began developing her expertise in sales while at Miller Heiman, Inc. In her years there, she worked with some of the company's largest and most complex accounts: Coca Cola, Dow Chemical, Merck and Hewlett Packard. Aside from selling, she was responsible for training and coaching instructors and program quality. In addition, Alice was certified to teach all the Miller Heiman's sales programs: Strategic Selling©, Conceptual Selling©, and Large Account Management©.

In 1997 she established Alice Heiman, LLC based on her strong belief that companies can create opportunities for further success through sales process implementation. As a sales process consultant, Alice delivers results by working with a company's senior executives using her unique combination of experience in sales, sales management, process implementation and facilitation. Foremost, she focuses on redesign, implementation and reinforcement of sales process, including acquisition, retention and growth of customers. Her skills in these areas have benefited a diverse client list including: Fidelity Investments, John Deere Credit, Kimball International, Macromedia, Installshield, Harley Davidson Financial, Greater Nevada Credit Union and SBC Nevada Bell. Alice has provided her expertise to start-ups and growing companies such as Max Displays, Synergy Research Group, Black Rock Systems, Hire Dynamics and Lares Research.

Alice is the creator of The BizTalk Blender®, The Ultimate Networking Event, which she developed because she was not meeting the prospects she needed to by attending the usual networking events at chambers of commerce and other business groups. This event allows business people to get together and talk about business and meet people they can do business with and refer business to. There is no speaker and no sitting, just a comfortable environment where you can make good contacts. With networking as her passion she has created many products to help business owners and salespeople become expert at networking to building relationships that can lead to sales.

For the past 20 years Alice has spoken to numerous conferences and professional organizations, and run training for salespeople and sales management throughout the country. She's appeared on radio and television, and been featured in Selling Power Magazine, Nevada Women Magazine, and the Reno Gazette Journal, "People You Should Know". Her articles on sales & sales management have been published in the Northern Nevada Business Weekly, Reno Gazette Journal, RLife Magazine, Business Leader Magazine and Simple Team Solutions. She's been named Saleswoman of the Year by the Professional Saleswomen of Nevada, Marketer of the Year by the Reno Tahoe American Marketing Association, received the Community Spirit Award from the Northern Nevada Chamber of Commerce, and Blue Ribbon Small Business Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Alice is also part of the adjunct Faculty for University of Nevada, College of Business Administration where she has taught entrepreneurship. sales and business communications.

Prior to being a sales professional, Alice was an educator. With an M.S. in Education, Alice spent 13 years in the public school system and taught graduate level courses in curriculum design and implementation for the University of San Diego. She also owned and operated Book Adventures, a children's bookstore and resource center for parents and teachers.
