As a senior executive of a Fortune 500 company, Alicia Blain was so impressed with the contributions and talents of Millennials in the workplace that, when she left corporate life, she founded The Millennial Lab to help managers and leaders harness the Gen Y potential. She speaks, conducts workshops and consults on the subject of Gen Y as well as other generational and leadership topics in the workplace.

She has spoken across the country for corporations, associations, schools and universities including Visa, Inc., Gartner, Cognizant, The Miami Herald , CIO Magazine, and The Dade Association of Non-Public Schools (DAANS). She shares her innovative, proven methods on how leaders can challenge their conventional management practices, recognize and capitalize on the value of the Millennials and achieve unprecedented results in record time.

Now with her new book New@Work: An Insider's Survival Guide for a Crazy Workplace, she shows young job entrants how to leverage the interview process to understand and prepare for their new job. She shares the realities of the workplace with college and MBA students and new hires and provides a "Success GPS" for their first year on the job. She utilizes her New@Work program to speak and conduct workshops for new hires in corporations and universities.

Alicia received her M.B.A. in Finance and International Economics from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg School of Management and an B.A. in Economics and French from Fordham University. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
