Alicia Sacramone  

Alicia Marie Sacramone was born December 3, 1987 and is an American artistic gymnast.

Alicia Sacramone was a member of the Silver Medal winning US Olympic team in 2008 and has won seven career World Championships medals, including two golds, three silvers and two bronzes, the second highest career tally in US history. She was named USA Gymnastics' Sportswoman of the Year three consecutive times (2005-07). At the 2007 World Championships, she helped the US women win just their second world team title in history, and the first held at a World Championships outside the United States. Sacramone and her World Championships teammates were named the US Olympic Committee's Team of the Year for 2007. Sacramone won four consecutive US vault titles from 2005-08, as well as two US National floor exercise crowns in 2005-06.

Sacramone attended Brown University for two years and was an assistant volunteer coach on the Bears' women's gymnastics team in 2008.
