Alicia Williamson Garcia has been blessed with the ministry to articulate the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and word. Her award-winning vocals combined with her ability to articulate God's truths have made her a national favorite for ministry and women's events. "The heart of our ministry is the Word of God. God has given us music to open the heart and His infallible Word to fill the heart and change a life. Worship, in its total essence is a response to the truth, not a reaction to circumstances," says Alicia.

A native of Florence, S.C., Alicia began performing in her local church at age five. At age seven, she trusted Jesus as her Lord and Savior while listening to her father's first sermon. Alicia later graduated from Winthrop College in Rock Hill, SC with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. Upon graduation, she joined the contemporary Christian group TRUTH and recorded her signature song, "There Is A Hope."

Alicia began her personal ministry in 1993 and partnered with local churches, ministries and organizations to lead worship. Her ministry grew to incorporate teaching at womens' functions and teaching congregations about the worship experience. Ultimately, she became identified as a prominent Bible teacher, keynote speaker and television host.

Alicia has been privileged to partner with many ministries including Precept Ministries, The Brooklyn Tabernacle, Dr. Tony Evans of the Urban Alternative, Women of Faith, The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, INSP, CBN, In Touch with Charles Stanley, The Gaither Homecoming and Food For the Hungry. "As I have quieted myself and have purposely set aside time to study the Word of God, He has opened doors for me that I could never open myself," she explains.

She has recorded many projects: "Alicia," "There Is a Hope," "The Rescue," "Faithful Heart," "Praise and Worship", and "We Win”. Alicia newest project is a DVD, recorded at the Inspirational Networks Studio (INSP), LIVE in Worship – Alicia Williamson Garcia.

Teaching Old and New Testament Principles of Worship and Creative Worship, Alicia is a faculty member at the Center for Worship at Liberty University. She also serves as Artist-in-Residence at Liberty University and Thomas Road Baptist Church.

Alicia is married to Richard Garcia, and they have two sons, Michael Chandler and Richard David.
