Emmy Award-Winning Science Correspondent & "Ologies" Podcast Host; Known for "The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation with Mo Rocca” & “Did I Mention Invention?”

Alie Ward is a Daytime Emmy Award-winning science correspondent for CBS’s "The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation with Mo Rocca," and hosts "Did I Mention Invention?" on the CW. She also serves as a consulting producer for Netflix's "Ada Twist, Scientist" and "Waffles & Mochi," both projects of Higher Ground Productions.

She hosts "Ologies," a comedic science podcast that not only was named one of Time Magazine’s top 50 podcasts but also won Best Science Podcast at the iHeart Awards in 2022. Ward appears on Netflix’s "Brainchild" and "100 Humans," and on the Science Channel’s "How to Build Everything." Previously, she co-hosted GE's "In the Wild" with Adam Savage of "Mythbusters" and was a contributor on Cooking Channel's "Unique Sweets."

Ward studied both science and film in college, was a staff writer and editor for the Los Angeles Times, and contributed on-air to KTLA. She volunteers at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and co-founded the science communication collective, Nerd Brigade. As a culinary host, she appears on Cooking Channel’s "Food: Fact or Fiction" and "Unique Sweets," and she created the series "Tripping Out with Alie and Georgia." Ward is based in Los Angeles.
