Prior to establishing her successful television career, Alison worked as a stylist, fashion director, runway producer, and print journalist. She loves the outdoors and enjoys playing golf and tennis, biking, surfing and doing Pilates. She and her husband have two dogs, Penny and Lucy, and volunteer regularly with the animal rescue organization, The Rescue Train, in Los Angeles.
