Alistair Croll is an entrepreneur, author, and visiting executive at Harvard Business School with a background in web performance, analytics, cloud computing, and business strategy. He’s worked on a variety of topics, from web performance, to big data, cloud computing, and startups in that time.

In 2001, he co-founded web performance startup Coradiant, and since that time has also launched Rednod, CloudOps, Bitcurrent, Year One Labs, the Bitnorth conference, the International Startup Festival and several other early-stage companies. He works with startups on business acceleration and advises a number of larger companies on innovation and technology.

Alistair is the author of three books on web performance, analytics, and IT operations, entitled "Lean Analytics", "Propose, Prepare, Present", and "Complete Web Monitoring".

A sought-after public speaker on data-driven innovation and the impact of technology on society, Alistair has founded and run a variety of conferences, including Cloud Connect, Bitnorth, and the International Startup Festival, and is the chair of O’Reilly’s Strata Data Conference.
