She opened the door to the power and potential of female online presence when she founded Cybergrrl, Inc. in the early days of the World Wide Web. It is a pioneering new media and entertainment company at the forefront of creating online programming, products, services and virtual communities. Sherman is also the founder of Webgrrls, a networking group for woman interested in the Internet that currently has over 100 chapters world-wide.
