Allison Hunt  

Allison Hunt has worked in advertising and marketing for 20 years, developing human insight and persuasion into an art for her clients. She found these skills came in very handy when confronting the Canadian medical system.

Allison Shapira is the President of Global Public Speaking. A former opera singer and diplomatic speechwriter, she has taught public speaking and presentation skills to business executives, diplomats, government ministers, medical chiefs, elected officials, and entrepreneurs. She has taught empowerment and leadership communication to students of all ages from around the world and most recently taught communication workshops at the Harvard Kennedy School and MIT Sloan School of Management. Allison currently teaches at Georgetown University and runs training programs for private companies, federal agencies, and international organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Italian literature from Boston University and a master’s degree in public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. Allison speaks Italian, Spanish, and Hebrew and has studied Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, French, Georgian, German, Modern Greek, Polish, and Turkish. She lives in Washington, DC and works with clients around the world.
