Allison Smith is a young, emerging leader in the nonprofit fundraising field. She has proven to be successful in this field through her current role as the Grants Manager at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England and as an individual fundraising consultant in the Greater New York Metro region.

Smith’s success in her roles stems from her ability to connect organizational missions and goals to outcomes -- both internally and externally -- through the use of human-centered data and communication. She has assisted in the build-out of nonprofit development systems and continues to engage in the fundraising field as both the teacher and the student.

Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications – Public Relations and hopes to pursue a Masters of Public Health degree.

Outside of her professional roles, Smith is a published researcher and poet and is a vocal advocate for various social justice issues.
