The firms have funded more than 50 sustainable companies employing more than 50,000 people in sectors ranging from renewable energy to education services. Fletcher served as an officer in the US Air Force Reserve. His Brown v. Board of Education 50th Anniversary Philanthropic Initiative has funded professorships, fellowships, and scholarships at Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and other universities.
