Alyssa-Amor Gibbons, a resilience designer with more than eight years of experience under her belt, is known for her unique approach to environmentally conscious architecture. Her work, which is deeply influenced by her reverence for nature and a sense of human interconnectedness, has found a global platform in the Caribbean and the United Kingdom. A holder of a master's degree in structural engineering and architecture, Gibbons holds the title of LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C) and is a recognized LEED Green Rater.

Her academic background and professional credentials make Gibbons a vocal advocate for net-zero building practices and virtual architectural modeling. Her commitment to these areas is evident in her specialization in Building Information Modelling (BIM), a modern and efficient approach to architectural design. Gibbons serves as the project lead for futureCITY[x] at FutureBARBADOS, an organization dedicated to the transformation of Barbados while addressing societal harms. futureCITY[x] aims to bridge the gap between civic, climate, and fintech to deliver SMART cities of the future Global South. This passion for creating considerate, energy-efficient, resilient, and environmentally conscious architecture has also manifested in her participation as a speaker at TED.
