Amale Andraos  

Award-winning architect, co-founder of WORK Architecture Company (WORKac), Dean at Columbia Graduate School of Architecture

Amale Andraos is the dean of Princeton University’s School of Architecture and co-founder of WORK Architecture Company (WORKac), a New York–based firm devoted to exploration and innovation in architecture. A native of Lebanon, she has worked with acclaimed architect Rem Koolhaas in the Netherlands, and her work on urbanism has been presented internationally, most recently at the Architecture Association’s Cities from Zero conference in London. She has served as a juror on several competitions, including the Canadian Governor General’s Medal in Architecture in 2006. She has been an adjunct professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, at the University of Pennsylvania, and at the Lawrence Technical University in Michigan.
