Amanda J. Rose

Professor of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri, Expert on the Role of Gender in Development, Relationships & the Workplace

Why are women seen as less competent than men when they do the same work? Why are girls raised to be empowered but then hit a wall when they try to climb the career ladder? How are girls and boys raised that leads to communication problems between women and men, in close relationships and and at work? Why do girls and women care so much about their relationships but still end up overtaxed, overstressed, and at risk for depression and anxiety?
