Amanda Rodriguez

Amanda, a parenting blogger, was launched into the national spotlight after appearing on TLC’s "What NOT to Wear" when she found herself in desperate need of a makeover.

Amanda Rodriguez is a professional blogger, photographer, and spokesperson. She began her professional career as an English teacher by joining Teach for America. She went on to receive her Masters in Education from the University of Maryland, College Park, before deciding to say goodbye to her school children to stay home with her own children.

After starting her own photography business, Amanda stumbled into blogging when she started to run out of family members with whom to share her humorous stories about at home mom life with kids. Her first blog, Parenting BY Dummies, became an Internet sensation, which basically just means more than her mother read it.

Since her transformation, her blog has grown (and changed names; she's now known online as the DudeMom), and she has worked with several brands as an ambassador and spokesperson.

Amanda makes television appearances, has starred in two webTV series (one for iVillage and one on First Run TV), and also makes public appearances giving high fives and speeches to moms looking to get their post-baby mojo back.

Amanda has worked with the following brands: Toyota, NFL, Invisalign, Muller Yogurt, Wells Fargo, Chevy, iVillage, Weight Watchers, Johnson & Johnson, Answers.com, and many more.
