Author, Activist & Entrepreneur; Founder of Muslimgirl.com; Known for "MuslimGirl: A Coming of Age"

Amani Al-Khatahtbeh is best known as the founder of MuslimGirl.com, a platform dedicated to giving voice to Muslim women's perspectives. Her efforts in media and representation have been widely recognized, with Forbes including her in their 30 Under 30 list in 2016. Al-Khatahtbeh's influence extends beyond her work with MuslimGirl, as she is recognized by CNN as one of the 25 most influential Muslim Americans.

Aside from her digital platform, Al-Khatahtbeh has pursued various avenues to increase representation and understanding of Muslim women. In 2016, she authored "MuslimGirl: A Coming of Age," and the following year, she initiated Muslim Women's Day on March 27th. Her advocacy has found international resonance, leading her to participate as a panelist at the 2017 Brisbane Writers Festival in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Further solidifying her influence, she made an appearance at the esteemed Tribeca Film Festival in 2018.

Al-Khatahtbeh's commitment to representation and advocacy extended into the political sphere in 2020, when she ran in the Democratic primary for U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 6th Congressional district.
