Amelia Friedman, Forbes 30 Under 30 alum, launched Hatch Apps, a platform that automates software development aiming to make it possible for anybody to design and launch a mobile app without coding. Founded in 2015, the company has raised $2.3M from Revolution's Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, Morgan Stanley's Multicultural Innovation Lab, and the Y Combinator Fellowship. Friedman and her cofounder Param JAGGI (CEO and Forbes 30 Under 30 alum) created a Cards Against Humanity for the 2016 election called Election Game, which went viral and of which they sold thousands of games worldwide that they used for Hatch Apps.
