After being born and raised in the United States, Amir relocated to Amman, Jordan at the age of 11, where he has been living ever since. From an early age, after being faced with life-changing challenges and experiences, Amir was inspired to help humanity and create awareness throughout society. His selfless desire to inform people about certain neglected topics, coupled with his on-going determination and overall passion to help people, have led Amir to establish his own NGO in 2010; YARA (Youth Association for Reality and Awareness).

Ever since its establishment, YARA has successfully contributed towards raising people’s awareness through campaigns that address untapped issues in the realms of Education, Environment, Sustainability, Religion, Youth Empowerment, and Orphaned Children. Over just a few years, YARA has been gaining recognition across the Arab World at an increasingly rapid pace; one that Amir has no intention of slowing down.

Furthermore, Amir is currently a Young Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum, and has every intention of affiliating with other similar bodies that will gain YARA additional global exposure. Amir is fully conscious of the fact that he will not be around forever, however it is his dream to create something that will.

In addition to being the founder of YARA, Amir is also the Head of Global Online Sales & Logistics at a leading outfit company that offers customizable clothing throughout the Middle East. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems, which he earned from Jordan University, ranking 10th out of 130 graduating students.
