The British-Iranian anarchist and software developer has been a believer in Bitcoin since 2010, running Britain’s first Bitcoin exchange and rewriting Satoshi Nakamoto’s code from top to bottom to create libbitcoin, a compatible but more developer-friendly implementation of the cryptocurrency. Lately he’s led the Dark Wallet project, which seeks to build a fully anonymous, browser-based Bitcoin app aimed at enhancing the currency’s ability to evade corporate and government control.
