Amy joined TCV in 2019 as a Venture Partner, working with TCV’s B2C team and portfolio companies. Amy is an experienced operational leader, brand builder, and board director. Most recently, she spent 13 years in leadership roles at Zillow Group, beginning as a founding team member at Zillow in 2005, and serving first as Chief Marketing Officer, then Chief Operating Officer. During her tenure, Zillow grew from startup to a household name with a portfolio of home-related brands. In 2018 Amy joined Zillow Group’s Board of Directors and stepped away from her operating role.

Today, Amy serves on the board of directors of two TCV portfolio companies, Zillow Group (Nasdaq: Z, ZG) and Modsy, as well as Duolingo. She previously served on the boards of Gap, Inc (NYSE: GPS), HotelTonight (acquired by Airbnb in 2019) and Avvo, Inc (acquired by Internet Brands in 2018).

Previously, Amy ran communications for Hotwire.com (acquired by Expedia, Inc in 2003) and began her career as a broadcast journalist, reporting for ABC and NBC affiliates in Virginia and Florida. TCV is an investor in Zillow Group, Airbnb, and Modsy, and a former investor in Avvo and Expedia.

In 2017 and 2018, Amy was named “Most Powerful Woman in Real Estate” on the Swanepoel Power 200 List.
