Amy Dixon is a highly sought-after Expert Patient Advocate, Elite Paratriathlete, and motivational speaker, speaking on television and radio and at extensive seminars around the world on all subjects pertaining to the world of triumph over adversity, leadership, team work, rare disease management, patient advocacy, and how to achieve a full life despite devastating setbacks.

Dixon lost 98% of her vision to a rare autoimmune disease and now serves as a patient advocate and President of the Glaucoma Eyes international non-profit.

In 2017, Dixon founded Camp ‘No Sight No Limits’, the first-ever camp dedicated to producing elite level blind triathletes in San Diego. She hopes to discover, inspire and coach the next generation of elite blind athletes as they embody her mantra, “You don’t need sight to have vision”.

For her service to the blind across many countries and borders, Dixon has been awarded recognition from the Glaucoma Research Foundation “2020 Visionary Award”, Lions Club International as a “Lion of Sight” and from Senators Joel Blumenthal and Congressman Mike Levin for her continued dedication to improving the lives of those living with low or no vision.
