Amy LaMeyer is Managing Partner of the WXR Fund, a venture fund which backs early-stage, gender-diverse start-ups using spatial computing (AR/VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) to transform business and human connection. The Fund's portfolio includes start-ups across media and entertainment, retail, remote work, education, healthcare and real estate.

LaMeyer, one of few women originally in the tech space, spent the first part of her career at Akamai Technologies, helping enable the early web to scale. There she led the diligence and integration of M&A worth more than $1.5 billion. Now she is fully immersed in AR and VR as an advisor and investor, and was named one of the Top 30 people to Watch in Augmented Reality by Next Reality. She is also the author of the “Sound and AR” chapter in the book "Convergence: How the World Will Be Painted With Data" by Charlie Fink and the AR Cloud White Paper with the VR/AR Association (VRARA).

She is a member of the Augmented World Expo (AWE) Advisory Council and a three-time Siggraph Reviewer for immersive content.
