Amy Levin

Founder and Creative Director of CollegeFashionista Entrepreneur, Style Guru

Entrepreneur and style guru Amy Levin is the Founder and Creative Director of CollegeFashionista, a fashion blog site showcasing the latest in college fashion styles and trends on campuses around the world. Written by college students, for college students, the blog allows students and other young adults to view photographs of what their most fashionable peers are wearing around campus.

A fashion lover from the start, Amy studied merchandising and business marketing at the University of Indiana. Amy first became aware of the growing importance of street style during a semester abroad in London and was instantly inspired by the phenomenon of unique (and increasingly accessible) fashion influencers. Back on campus, Amy launched Indiana University Fashionista and interest in the site quickly spread to other campuses, propelling her part time hobby into a full-time career.

To Amy, CollegeFashionista is "the place where people can see real fashion and they can imitate and make it work for their body and their personal budget." From Monday's "Style Advice of the Week" to Friday's "Accessories Report," daily columns written by campus "Style Gurus" reflect a spectrum of fashion views, provide sartorial inspiration and offer valuable tips for incorporating stylish looks and trends into a college fashion wardrobe. Since its launch in 2009, the site has grown to cover 300 campuses and has developed a network of over 600 "Style Gurus."
