Mexican Actress and Singer

Originally from Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Ana Brenda immigrated to Mexico City at age 15 to participate in the reality show Pop Stars, where she managed to be a finalist and member of the musical group, t'detila, which had recorded an album with the same name.

In 2003 she joined the Center for Arts Education. In 2005 Ana Brenda Barrera participated in "Barrera de amor," produced by Ernesto Alonso, and in 2006 joined the cast of Grease on the production work of Julissa, the same year she made a cameo on the soap "Duelo de pasiones."

In 2008 she starred in "Divina confusión" and that same year starred in the telenovela "Juro que te amo," produced by Mapat.

In 2009, she obtained the antagonistic role of the telenovela "Sortilegio." A year later she played the role of Aurora, in the remake of "Teresa," while also starring in the musical "Timbiriche el Musical."

She also played a part in the second season of "Mujeres Asesinas" in the episode Las Garrido Codiciosas.

In August of 2011, she received her first starring role in the telenovela La que no podía amar, which garnered high ratings.

She is now the star of the new telenovela "Corazón Indomable."
