Anastasia Pagonis is a paralympic swimmer who represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. She has not only won gold but has set world records within the sport.

Her diagnosis is autoimmune retinopathy which caused her sight to deteriorate rapidly at the age of 11, and she lost her usable vision by the age of 14.
